Ariel Winter (born Ariel Winter Workman on Janurary 28 1998 in Los Angeles California) is an American actor, singer, and voice actor. Ariel started her career in acting young, appearing in an Cool Whip commercial at age six. Her first television appearance was at the age of seven years old, appearing in an episode from CBS's Listen Up! Later on she appeared on some of the shows she appeared in, including Monk Bones or ER. Gretchen was a character on in the Disney Original Channel animated show Phineas and Ferb in 2007. In 2007, she appeared as her first live-action character as Alex Dunphy, on the popular television series Modern Family. Alongside the others on the cast of Modern Family, she won the Screen Actors Guild Award four times for her outstanding performances by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series. Ariel keeps doing voice work voicing characters in films like ParaNorman Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs and Scooby-Doo! Stage Fright. Ariel holds an unofficial purple belt in Taekwondo.
