Luciana Paoluzzi and Maria Rota Paoluzzi were raised in Rome. Luciana Paoluzzi is the daughter of Manlio Paoluzzi (an Italian military officer) and Maria Rota Paoluzzi (a mistress of Benito Mussolini). There is no information available on having siblings. She was in a local high school, and after matriculating in 1955 she studied marine engineering in the Scientific Academy of Milan - Luciana was the only woman in her class. Following two years of modeling, she was offered the role of Three Coins in the Fountain. This was her debut. Her initial husband was Brett Halsey who is also an actor. Following the wedding, in 1960 they produced a film together called Return to the Peyton Palace. Luciana and Charles had a child called Charles on June 13, 1961. The couple split up a year after the birth of their son. Luciana then gained custody. Between 1962 and 1970, Luciana was with Tony Athony, who was an actor and producer. He was inspired by her work in the movie Green Slime and based on that he wrote and produced this mix Spaghetti Western for which he was a bit of a hit.
