Sharni Vison, dancer and Australian-American actor, was born in Sydney Australia on 22nd July 1983. Her debut as an actor occurred in 2001 when she was asked to appear in the Australian Soap soap opera Home and Away where she had a minor role in two episodes of the series. Her performance in the limited character was so impressive that the casting agent for the show wanted her to be cast in the principal role in the series. Although she did try out for the role, it was not selected. She was instead cast in the show in the role of Cassie Turner. The character is young struggling girl living with foster parents. Both the critics and fans who watched the show have praised the role she played. Following that, she became a popular television actress. In 1994, she appeared on A Friend to Die For in 1994 A Carol Christmas 2003 and The Last Sharknado It's about Time in 2018.
